In addition to real estate, Alan is a licensed contractor and accomplished architectural blacksmith. Since 2008, he and his partner Lisa Guthrie have run Winter Drew Design, creating handcrafted metalwork—doors, gates, railings, fireplaces, and lighting—for distinguished homes across the country, from California and Hawaii to Montana, Texas, and Florida.
